About This Notice
This AI Notice explains how Kairos Salt Holdings LLC and its subsidiary Neustac LLC (together, "Neustac," "we," "us," or "our") — which operates the Neustac brand — use artificial intelligence ("AI") in connection with neustac.com (the "Site"), and, at a high level, in the work we do. We would rather be plain about this than bury it, so we have given it its own page.
This Notice supplements, and should be read with, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. It is a disclosure, not a separate agreement: it does not change your use of the Site (which is governed by the Terms of Use) and does not modify any signed client agreement. If anything in this Notice conflicts with a signed client agreement, that agreement controls for the work it covers (see "Client Work Is Governed by Your Agreement" below).
AI on This Site
The Site is a static marketing site. It does not currently use AI to interact with you: there is no chatbot, no companion bot, no AI assistant, and no automated decision-making about you on this Site. If we ever add an AI feature here (for example, a chat assistant), we will tell you clearly that you are interacting with AI, consistent with applicable law.
Some of the content on this Site was created with the help of AI. Portions of the Site's copy and imagery were generated or assisted using AI tools — including AI drafting tools such as Anthropic's Claude, and an AI image generator for illustrative photography — and reviewed before we published them. AI-assisted content on the Site may include, but is not limited to:
- written copy, headlines, and summaries;
- illustrative photography and visual elements; and
- structured data and metadata that help describe the Site.
Site imagery is illustrative and largely AI-generated. The people, offices, and scenes shown are not actual clients, employees, or engagements unless we expressly identify them.
No Guarantees or Warranties
AI-assisted content is produced, in whole or in part, by automated tools and may contain inaccuracies, errors, omissions, or outdated information. It may also lack the context or professional judgment that a qualified human expert would ordinarily apply. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any content on the Site, including AI-assisted content. All Site content is provided "AS IS" (see the warranty disclaimer in Section 10 and the limitation of liability in Section 11 of our Terms of Use).
Everything on the Site is for general informational purposes only and is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, compliance, or other professional advice. Any reliance on AI-assisted content is at your own risk; please independently verify anything you intend to rely on.
Human Oversight and Review
We review AI-assisted content on this Site before we publish it. Human review reduces the risk of errors but does not eliminate it, and it does not guarantee that content is accurate, current, or complete. You should independently verify any information that matters to you before acting on it.
How We Use AI in Our Work
Neustac is an AI consulting firm. We build and operate AI agents, automations, browser tools, and integrations for our clients, and we use AI tools in our own work. AI is a tool we apply under human direction: it supports our team and our clients' teams; it does not replace professional judgment or human accountability.
Model providers. To build the systems we deliver and in our own work, we use third-party AI providers — primarily Anthropic (the maker of Claude). For a paid engagement, the applicable Client Agreement and Statement of Work (together with any data-processing terms) identify the approved AI providers, the data-use and model-training restrictions, and the subprocessors that apply to that engagement.
Training. Within those agreements, we restrict the use of confidential client data to train providers' models. On the public Site itself, we do not send your information to any AI model.
Clients in Regulated Professions
Many of our clients are law firms and other regulated professionals. Where we build AI for use in a regulated context, the AI output is a tool to assist a qualified professional — it is not a substitute for that professional's independent review, judgment, and accountability. Neustac is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The responsible professional remains responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-assisted output before relying on it or providing it to their own clients.
Client Work Is Governed by Your Agreement
This Notice describes the public Site. How AI is used inside a paid engagement — including how data is handled, who owns AI inputs and outputs, restrictions on model training, and any obligations that apply to higher-risk AI uses — is governed by the separate written agreement we sign with each client (a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work, together with any AI or data-processing terms). That agreement controls over this Notice and the Site Privacy Policy for the services it covers.
Responsible AI
We aim to use AI responsibly: we are transparent about when AI is involved, we keep people accountable for consequential decisions, and we are mindful of the data our AI tools touch. Where we build higher-risk or regulated AI for a client, the human-review, risk controls, and disclosures for that system are addressed in the applicable Client Agreement and Statement of Work. On this Site, we do not use AI to manipulate you, to infer sensitive characteristics about you, or to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Changes to This Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time as our tools and the law evolve. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the updated Notice on this page.
